About Us

S2A, LLC (S2A) provides in-person and on-line training and educational experiences for individuals seeking information on strategic initiative management, project management, and a variety of other business focused areas. This refund policy described S2A’s refund practices for in-person and on-line training sessions.

In-Person Training

Open Workshops: (Workshops run at venue of our choice and open to the general public) Due to the nature of our work we presume you will do your best to honor your reservation. However, if for any reason you need to cancel your booking we require at least two weeks’ notice. If less than two weeks’ notice is given, we have the right to retain the workshop fee. In the event that you provide less that two weeks’ notice, we may, at our sole option, give you a credit for use in attending another workshop in the future. If we do not secure a sufficient number of bookings for a workshop, we may have to cancel the event. We will give you at least 72 hours’ notice of cancellation and you will be entitled to a full refund.

Private Workshops: (Workshops run at a venue of your choice that is not open to the general public, only to participants arranged by you or your organization) Due to the nature of our work we presume you will do your best to honor the date that has been agreed for the workshop. However, if for any reason you need to re-arrange or cancel the date for training we require you to give us at least 2 weeks’ notice. If less than 2 weeks’ notice is given, we reserve the right to invoice 100% of the agreed training fee as a cancellation fee. In the event that you provide less that two weeks’ notice, we may, at our sole option, give you a credit for use in attending/hosting another workshop in the future.

On-Line Training

Live, On-Line Training: If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation in one of our live, on-line training sessions, you may do so at any time. The tuition associated with your registration will be retained by us; however, we will provide you with a credit to allow you to attend a future session of equal or lesser value at any time within 12 months after the date of the original reservation. If we do not secure a sufficient number of bookings for a live session, we may have to cancel the event. If we cancel an event, we will attempt to provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation and you will be entitled to a credit to allow you to attend a future session or equal or lesser value at any time within 12 months after the date of the original reservation.

On-Demand, On-Line Training: When you register for on-demand training, we provide you with the opportunity to complete the training at the time and location of your choosing any time within 12 months of the date registration. The average participant can expect to complete the training at a pace of one training hour per week. Thus, a 4-hour course will take the average participant approximately 4 weeks to complete. We do not provide refunds for on-demand sessions, so please register only for sessions that you will be able to complete within the next 12 months

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at the contact information listed at the end of this document. We offer an opportunity to opt-out of certain communications.

You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party.

Log Files

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users‟ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We may link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information. IP addresses may be tied to personally identifiable information. We use a third-party tracking service that uses cookies and/or log files to track nonpersonally identifiable information about visitors to our site.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We may use cookies on this site. We may link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.

We may use both session ID cookies and/or persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browse’s “help” file.

We set a persistent cookie to store your passwords, so you don’t have to enter it more than once. Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site, such as contests or surveys, will be limited.

Some of our business partners (e.g., advertisers) use cookies on our site. We have no access to or control over these cookies. See “Third Party Advertisers.”

This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by this site and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. See the “Third Party Advertisers” section.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

We employ [or our third-party advertising partner employs] a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a use’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We tie [do not tie] the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers‟ personally identifiable information.

We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see “Choice and Opt-out.”

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If you have any questions about security on our Web site, you can send email us as outlined below.

Business Transitions

In the event S2A goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email or via a prominent notice on our website of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
